My mother actually came to my house last night after I got home from the hospital and I was showing her all about Apo. Well, not 'all about' because I just tossed the design up in like 20 minutes from a blank flame and changing the actual settings to show her different stuff(usually, I spend hours on little details. ). She goes, 'upload that and I'll buy it.' 'But, mom.. I haven't rendered or ran it through gimp to do a small layer-stack, mom!' 'I DONT CARE I WANT THAT ON MY WALL!' 'Yes, mother.. /hides'
So... I hope she still likes it enough after she sees it since the purples(petals) are brighter and the whole thing is a bit .. 'meatier' after layer-stack. That would pay for a whole year of membership if she does! (well, I'd have to buy it myself as she has no account, but, she said 'no problem I'll just give you the difference because I enjoyed watching this and picking colors!').
thank you... if all goes well, I may be selling at least one soon... after I got the DD I got a bunch of new watchers and one of them said they wanted to buy a print of the DD... a little later the person said they wanted to make a book of my prints, so I'm hoping that means buying more than one...
A few of the Orange lines have a little jagged edges(jaggies?) on them on the parts that are very thin Orange lines. Though.. I rendered at 4000 density, so, not sure what I should do about those other than increase Depth Blur. But, doing that would have really ruined the bright sections in the middle(well, to me, at least! ). So, I kept the Depth Blur pretty low for this one.
It's definitely a really 'busy' looking bloom(possibly too busy.. but, they filled me full of too much pain medicine in the hospital for 2 days and when I got home last night, I think my mind was like, 'oooohhh pretty colors! haha) compared to what I usually make. I think the next one I make this weekend will try to go back to more... 'realistic' tones and shading.
